Job Description

Position: DairyCattle Farm Worker

Reports to:your immediate farm manager/director

Tasks Include:

· Patrolling, inspecting, and reporting on thecondition of livestock

· Providing livestock with feed and water

· Assisting with calf rearing

· Assisting with maintaining the health andwelfare of livestock

· Mustering and droving livestock to milking andshearing sheds and between paddocks to ensure sufficient feed is available

· Washing and cleaning udders, attaching milkingmachines to udders, and milking cows

· Cleaning the shed

· General farm maintenance, such as fencing andrepairing the water line, etc


NOTE: This job description is not intended to beall-inclusive. The employee may need to perform other related duties asnegotiated with the employer.


On offer:

· Days/Timeof Work: Monday to Sunday (5 am start during milking and 3 am start duringcalving), 5 to 6 days a week)

· Location– West Coast Region, South Island, New Zealand

· Payrate - 55k per annum

· On-farmaccommodation


Skill Required:

· Noexperience is required as full training is provided

· Mustbe physically fit

· Abilityto start early morning
