Job Description

Are you an experienced Class 5 Driver with Road Ranger experience looking for consistent hours and long-term opportunities?


We're recruiting for a leading New Zealand roading and infrastructure contractor and are looking for a reliable, safety-focused driver to join their Waikato team. This is a night shift role supporting major civil and roading projects throughout the region, with an immediate start available for the right person .

The Role


  • Operating Class 5 vehicles with Road Ranger transmission
  • Transporting materials, equipment and product between work sites
  • Working within active civil construction and roading environments
  • Conducting vehicle checks and completing required documentation
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
  • Travelling throughout the Waikato region
  • Staying away when required for project work


Hours:


Sunday to Thursday

6:00pm to 6:00am- dependant on project.


What We're Looking For


  • Full New Zealand Class 5 Licence
  • Proven Road Ranger driving experience
  • Minimum 12 months' Class 5 driving experience
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
  • Ability to work permanent night shifts
  • Willingness to travel and work away when required
  • Ability to provide recent, contactable references
  • Clean criminal history
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
