Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Café Cabinet Maker to join their busy café kitchen. This is a varied, hands-on role preparing a fantastic range of fresh cabinet food, along with baking cakes and sweet treats, cooking breakfast and brunch, and assisting the wider kitchen team with catering and events.


Your Key Responsibilities Include:


- Making sandwiches

- Filled bread rolls

- Toasties

- Baked potatoes

- Frittatas

- Croquettes

- Quiches

- Filo

- Wraps

- Bagels

- Paninis

- Turkish breads

- Focaccia breads

- Corn fritters

- Potato rösti

- Baking cakes and sweet treats

- Cooking and preparing breakfast and brunch items

- Assisting with catering and events food preparation

- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

- Ensuring the kitchen and workstations are clean, organised and compliant with food safety requirements


Skills & Experience


- Previous experience in a bakery, café or commercial kitchen

- Confident in baking, food preparation and breakfast service

- Experience preparing a wide range of fresh café cabinet food

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

- Strong attention to detail and food presentation

- Reliable, organised and a team player

- Available for early-morning starts


Hours


Sunday to Thursday

7:00am-3:00pm OR 8:00am-4:00pm
