About the Role

Whether you’re newly qualified or an experienced educator, if you’re passionate about teaching young children, we’d love to hear from you. This is a permanent, full‑time role (40 hours, Monday–Friday) . Working with our under 2-year-old tamariki in our Harakeke room where we provide tamariki with the freedom of movement to explore, develop and learn at their own pace.


What We’re Looking For


We’re seeking someone who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and thrives in a collaborative, high‑quality teaching environment.


You will have:


  • A BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and a current practising certificate
  • Strong understanding of child‑led curriculum, planning, and extending children’s learning
  • Solid knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki , and a commitment to compliance
  • A genuine commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your teaching practice
  • Passion, professionalism, and a drive to deliver high‑quality learning experiences
