Customs Support Agent (On-Call) - Monday to Wednesday

Earn $25.00 per hour | Monday to Wednesday | 8:30am - 5:00pm | On-Call Temporary Role


Join PERSOL and work with a world-renowned leader in logistics. We're looking for reliable and detail-oriented Customs Support Agents to provide backup support for our Customs team.


This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking flexible part-time work while gaining valuable experience with a global organisation.


What You'll Be Doing


  • Provide backup support for Customs Agents when required.
  • Gather information from importers to assist with customs clearance.
  • Prepare and process import and export documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand Customs regulations.
  • Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.


About the Role


  • Pay Rate : $25.00 per hour
  • Schedule : Monday to Wednesday
  • Hours : 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Employment Type : Temporary On-Call
  • Location : Onsite at DHL


How the On-Call Arrangement Works


  • You will only be required to be available during normal business hours (Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am - 5:00pm).
  • This is not a 24/7 on-call role.
  • You will receive a minimum of 12 hours' notice if you are required to work.
  • All work is performed onsite at DHL during standard business hours.


Training and Support


  • Comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Most Support Agents become confident working independently within 2-3 weeks, depending on experience.


What We're Looking For


  • Previous administration or customer service experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to step in when required.
  • Experience within freight, logistics, customs, or transport is advantageous but not essential.
