At BestStart Park Green, we provide a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment where tamariki aged 0–5 can grow, explore, and develop a love for learning. Our centre reflects the rich history of the land and honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi, embedding Te Reo Māori, local stories, and cultural traditions into everyday learning.


We’re looking for a Teacher in Training to join our supportive team in a permanent role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).


This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your teaching practice while studying and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-quality ECE environment.


What We’re Looking For


  • Currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor or Graduate Diploma programme
  • A passion for child-led learning and curriculum development
  • Understanding of Te Whāriki and ECE Regulations
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice
  • A genuine love for teaching and learning
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
