We are currently looking for reliable and physically fit Class 2 Drivers to join courier operations for our client in the Whangārei region .


This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver who knows the local area, enjoys being on the road and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.


About the role


As a Class 2 Courier Driver, you will be responsible for:


  • Delivering and collecting parcels throughout Whangārei and surrounding areas
  • Loading and unloading freight safely
  • Providing friendly and professional service to customers
  • Completing delivery documentation and using relevant systems
  • Ensuring parcels are handled safely and securely
  • Maintaining a high standard of vehicle safety and presentation


Shift: Monday to Friday 04:00am to 03:00pm

Payrate: $28 to $30 (pending experience)


What we're looking for


To be successful in this role, you will have:


  • Current NZ Class 2 driver's licence
  • Good knowledge of Whangārei and surrounding areas
  • A clean and reliable driving record
  • A clean criminal record
  • Previous courier, delivery, transport or logistics experience is preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
  • Good physical fitness , as the role involves regular lifting and handling of parcels weighing up to approximately 30 kg
  • Ability to successfully complete drug and alcohol screening
  • A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
