We’re looking for a People Systems Analyst to own a People system portfolio and ensure the systems are aligned, well governed, and delivering real value to the business.


Te tūranga | The role


As a People Systems Analyst, you’ll bring a product-style mindset to how we manage and evolve our People systems. You’ll translate business needs into clear system designs, prioritise change effectively, and ensure delivery is both high quality and low risk.


At its core, this role is about creating systems that are reliable, fit-for-purpose, and easy to use.


Ō pūkenga | What you’ll bring


We’re looking for someone who can balance technical thinking with strong stakeholder partnership, with experience across:


People systems experience


  • Experience working with People systems such as Cornerstone, SnapHire, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar
  • Exposure to case management or workflow tools (e.g. ServiceNow HRSD or similar)
  • Familiarity with data structures, reporting and data quality controls within enterprise systems


Core capability


  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Proven ability to prioritise work based on value, risk and operational impact
  • Experience managing backlogs, coordinating UAT, and supporting system changes
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders, including Technology and vendors
  • Strong communication skills – able to translate complex system concepts in plain English
  • An understanding of system design, workflows, and end-to-end impacts across platforms


Ngā kawenga | What you’ll be doing


You’ll own and manage a defined portfolio of People systems, with responsibilities including:


  • Maintaining system configuration and functional design
  • Managing and prioritising enhancements and fixes based on business value and risk
  • Owning the functional backlog and driving delivery outcomes
  • Reviewing system designs and workflows
  • Coordinating testing, UAT, and readiness activities
  • Partnering with Technology teams and vendors to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Supporting stable BAU operations while managing change effectively
  • Identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
