We’ve had an exciting opportunity open up in our Investments team as a Senior Tax Specialist. This role is located in Wellington. You’ll enjoy a varied role, responsible for providing detailed subject matter expertise and analysis for teams throughout Sharesies, focused on all things tax.


We’re looking for people who love the idea of working in a dynamic, innovative environment and who are as excited about our vision as we are. For the Senior Tax Specialist role we are specifically looking for someone who:


  • has a deep, practical understanding of New Zealand and Australian taxation rules relating to investments
  • has an understanding of international tax frameworks relevant to cross-border trading
  • has excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and is detail-oriented with strong curiosity and critical thinking skills - you’re comfortable challenging existing tools and processes
  • is adaptable to change, and is motivated by our vision and purpose
