About the role


We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant for our Crestwood Village in New Lynn, West Auckland. This is a ‘all round’ role helping keep our village thriving and beautiful for our residents to enjoy.


Reporting to the Maintenance and Grounds Manager, you will perform maintenance-related tasks around the village.


This is a 16 hour a week role. Shifts: Monday and Friday from 08:00am – 04:30pm


About you


This is a physical role where you will be a part of a passionate team keeping our village flourishing. You'll be confident in your maintenance abilities and able to communicate with a range of people including residents.


  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance person role
  • Hold and maintain a clean and valid New Zealand driver's license.
  • You'll be fit as you'll undertake physical work.
  • Have a ‘can do and will do’ attitude who can work well in a team or with minimal supervision
  • Ability to plan and communicate with a range of stakeholders including the Village Management and residents
