Electrical Trade Assistant

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Electrical Trade Assistant in Taupō to support qualified electricians across a variety of projects. If you're confident using tools, have hands-on electrical experience and are ready to get stuck in, we want to hear from you!

Location: Taupō, Taupō

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour + weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist qualified electricians with electrical installations and maintenance
• Help run cables and install cable trays and supports
• Prepare tools, materials and equipment for electrical work
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Support electrical tasks under the direction of qualified electricians
• Assist with general site duties as required
• Maintain clean, organised worksites and follow health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• At least one year's experience as an Electrical Trade Assistant
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
• Reliable, hardworking and committed to workplace safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Relevant work references
