About the Role

We are looking for an inspiring and passionate Infant Team Leader to lead our dedicated infants' team. If you have a genuine passion for working with children under two and love creating a nurturing, responsive environment where our youngest learners can feel safe, secure, and confident to explore, we would love to hear from you.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a natural leader who shares our values and vision and can bring energy, professionalism, and warmth to the role. You will have:

  • A BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 qualification and full NZ Teacher Registration
  • Ideally previous leadership or Head Teacher experience
  • A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculum
  • Sound knowledge of current ECE regulations and Te Whāriki
  • A genuine passion for play-based, child-led learning
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A positive, professional, and fun approach to leadership
  • A strong commitment to building respectful and meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues
