- Prebbleton, Christchurch | Opening Mid-November 2026

- Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

We are looking for TWO exceptional Café Chefs to join an exciting new café and restaurant opening in Prebbleton this November!


Our client is an established and expanding hospitality company with multiple successful cafés, extensive catering operations and major hospitality contracts.


As they continue to grow, they're opening another fantastic venue in Prebbleton and are looking for passionate, experienced chefs to join their breakfast, brunch and lunch team!


Your Main Responsibilities:


- Prepare, cook and present exceptional breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes.

- Deliver high-quality à la carte café-style meals.

- Prepare breakfast favourites, cabinet food, salads, sandwiches and lunch dishes.

- Assist with daily specials, menu planning and seasonal menu development.

- Ensure exceptional food presentation, quality and consistency.

- Complete food preparation and mise en place for daily service.

- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy breakfast and lunch periods.

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.


What We're Looking For:


- Proven experience as a Café Chef, Breakfast Chef or similar.

- Strong breakfast, brunch and lunch cooking experience.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.

- Excellent food presentation and attention to detail.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- A genuine passion for food, creativity and customer satisfaction.

- Reliability, enthusiasm and a positive team attitude.
