Job Description

Our client is a 100% New Zealand-owned company with more than 50 years of experience in the food industry. What started as a small local distributor has grown into a nationwide operation with 11 warehouses and a growing team.


With continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Stock Picker Storeperson to join their busy Hornby warehouse.


The Role

This is a hands-on warehouse position where you’ll be kept busy throughout the day. We’re looking for someone who has proven experience operating a man-up stock picker and is confident working at heights.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Operating a man-up stock picker – previous experience is essential
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Working across chiller and freezer areas
  • Manual handling of boxes and bags weighing up to 25kg
  • Loading and unloading stock
  • General warehouse and dispatch duties
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and running smoothly


What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Previous man-up stock picker experience
  • A current forklift licence/OSH certificate
  • Previous warehouse, stores or dispatch experience
  • Good physical fitness and confidence with manual handling
  • The ability to work comfortably in chiller/freezer environments
  • Strong attention to detail when picking orders
  • A reliable attitude and good work ethic
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • Availability to start immediately


What’s On Offer

  • Monday to Friday day shift
  • 6:00am – 3:30pm
  • $25.00 – $27.00 per hour + 8% Holiday Pay
  • Work with an established, growing NZ-owned company

  • Immediate start available
