As part of the locally owned Cockram Motor Group, CMG Motors has a well-established family history dating back to the 1940s. We're locals, and we love serving our community.


We're currently looking for an ambitious, motivated and results-driven Brand Manager to take charge of both our MG and GWM brands in Christchurch.


With two exciting brands, huge sales volumes and a constant flow of inbound enquiries, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced automotive salesperson ready to take the next step in their career.

As our MG & GWM Brand Manager, you'll be responsible for:


  • Driving sales performance across both MG and GWM
  • Managing customer enquiries and converting leads into sales
  • Building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Stock management and vehicle ordering
  • CRM database management, data input and reporting
  • Team leadership and brand management
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives, promotions and events


Our ideal candidate will possess:


  • A proven track record of success in automotive sales
  • Strong sales, negotiation and deal-closing skills
  • The drive and ambition to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
  • Strong organisational and computer skills
  • A current Full Driver's Licence
  • Availability to work rostered weekends
