About the Role


We are looking for an experienced and reliable Storeperson to join our Hamilton warehouse team.


This is a hands-on role responsible for the efficient movement of inwards and outwards goods. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are received, stored and recorded accurately, and customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched safely and on time.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage inwards and outwards goods within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using a forklift.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Read, complete and check dispatch documentation, including delivery dockets and freight paperwork.
  • Receive incoming deliveries, check quantities and condition, and ensure stock is accurately recorded.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock transfers and stocktakes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and yard environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, particularly around forklift operation and truck loading.


About You


We're looking for someone who is organised, practical and confident working in a busy warehouse environment.


To be successful in this role, you will have:


  • A current OSH forklift operator certificate and proven forklift operating experience.
  • Demonstrated experience safely loading and unloading trucks, including handling large or heavy loads.
  • Previous experience in warehousing, stores, dispatch or a similar environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately read, interpret and complete dispatch paperwork.
  • Good computer literacy, with NetSuite ERP experience highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive attitude, reliability and a willingness to help across warehouse and yard operations.
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues, drivers and customers.
