Warehouse Assistant - Short-Term Assignment


Location: Mt Wellington, Auckland

Pay Rate: $24.75 per hour

Duration: 2 weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm


About the Role


We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Warehouse Assistant for a short-term, two-week assignment based in Mt Wellington.


This role is ideal for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and can maintain accuracy and productivity throughout the day.


Full training will be provided, so previous SAP experience is not essential, although it would be an advantage.


Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
  • Use an RF scanner/gun to assist with warehouse operations.
  • Follow instructions and established processes accurately.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily targets.
  • Safely handle and lift items weighing between 25-30 kg.
  • Walk extensively throughout the warehouse during your shift.


What We're Looking For


  • Previous warehouse experience or a good understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks to a high standard.
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using an RF scanner/gun.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with extensive walking and regular lifting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and remain productive during busy periods.
