Location: Radius Matua, 124 Levers Rd, Matua, Tauranga

Hours of work: Casual, as and when required, with the possibility of part-time hours in the future for the right candidate. Must be flexible, and prepared to work weekends and public holidays.

Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for this role. Visa-holders must have a current visa with open work rights and preferably at least 6 months left until expiry.

About the role:

Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding, and ensure that our residential aged care facility residents receive their clean, folded clothes in a timely manner. Provide an efficient cleaning service. Help create a caring, comfortable environment, with a focus on resident wellbeing and individual needs.

Duties include:

  • Cleaning resident and communal areas
  • Utilising appropriate infection control measures
  • Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items
  • Assisting with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding
  • Following the laundry task list per facility policy
  • Ensuring that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed-off

  • Appropriate industry experience preferred
