Job Description


Trade Assist is on the hunt for Drainlayers to join the crew. Work is spread across the whole Auckland region, covering residential subdivisions, commercial builds, civil sites, and major infrastructure projects. This is hands-on, work with a team that gets stuck in and values a good attitude on site.


We have opportunities across a range of projects and sites, with work including general drainlaying, new drainage installation, fault finding, repairs, maintenance, trenching, septic tank installation and more.

What we need from you

  • Proven experience as a Drainlayer (trade cert. PGDB reg or cert is a bonus)
  • Background in residential, commercial, or civil drainage – infrastructure experience
  • Site Safe & confined space ticket preferred,
  • WTR and machine operating experience is a BONUS
  • Strong work ethic and team player mindset
  • Reliable transport to work
