When a childhood heart condition is diagnosed, a family's world can be turned upside down. We are dedicated to walking alongside these families, offering unwavering support, essential knowledge, and compassionate guidance throughout their journey. Our mission is to ensure that families navigating the challenges of childhood heart disease have access to free, comprehensive support, whether they are in hospital or at home within their community. Our passionate family support team, located across Aotearoa NZ, are committed to being a beacon of hope, alleviating feelings of separation, loneliness, isolation, financial hardship, stress, and uncertainty. 💖


About the Opportunity

Get ready to spread some festive cheer and make a tangible difference this Christmas! 🎄 We are seeking enthusiastic Christmas Gift Wrappers who are confident with, or willing to learn, basic gift-wrapping skills.


Shoppers will make a donation to have their gifts wrapped by our volunteers, with proceeds helping to support children and families affected by childhood heart conditions.


Location and Dates


📍 LynnMall Shopping Centre, New Lynn - conveniently located beside the New Lynn train and bus stations

🗓️ Various shifts available between 10th to 24th December


The Opportunity Will Involve

  • Beautifully wrapping a variety of Christmas gifts for shoppers 🎁
  • Working collaboratively with other volunteers
  • Chat with the public and share the Heart Kids NZ spirit
  • Collect donations and keep the station running smoothly
  • Maintaining a warm, festive and cheerful atmosphere while you wrap. ✨


Heart Kids will provide instructional gift wrapping videos and ideas.
