About the Role:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

You’ll be part of a team that builds strong relationships with tamariki and whānau, creating a home-away-from-home environment where every child is known and valued. You’ll have opportunities to extend learning through our natural surroundings while supporting each child’s individual interests, aspirations and development.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday .

Role requirements:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending children’s learning
  • Knowledge of current ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practice
  • A collaborative, positive and team-focused approach
