Job Description

The opportunity


We are looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join our Energy and Utilities team in Dunedin.


You will support our local water contracts with financial administration, monthly reporting and general business support. Working with the Construction Manager and operational teams, you will help keep contract information accurate, complete and on time.


Key responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly claims and customer invoices
  • Process supplier invoices and subcontractor claims
  • Support month end reporting, accruals, journals and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate contract records and filing systems
  • Assist with payroll and employee onboarding
  • Prepare meeting minutes and contract communications
  • Monitor plant charges and other contract costs
  • Support teams with Microsoft applications and business systems
  • Help improve contract administration processes
  • Provide professional support to customers, suppliers and subcontractors


What we’re looking for


You are organised, accurate and comfortable working with financial and contract information. You can manage deadlines, solve problems and build effective relationships across the business.


  • Experience in contract administration or business support
  • Experience with invoicing, financial reporting or month end processes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • The ability to manage competing priorities
