Job Description

BestStart is seeking Reliever Caregivers to join our two centres in Blenheim supporting our BestStart Blenheim Central and BestStart Springland Centres. Our relievers play a vital role in supporting our centres, ensuring our tamariki receive the best care and learning experiences every day.


As a Reliever Caregiver, you will:


  • Work alongside permanent staff to support the daily activities of the classroom.
  • Provide care, guidance, and engagement for our tamariki.
  • Take initiative and contribute to a positive learning environment.
  • Enjoy variety, no two days are the sam


What We’re Looking For:


  • A passion for working with young children.
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude.
  • A caring, respectful, and fun-loving nature.
  • The ability to adapt and be part of a supportive team.


No formal ECE qualifications are required, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and explore a rewarding career in early childhood education!
