About the role


Just opened at Fairway Gardens in Golflands, East Auckland is our stunning Care Home. Our premium Care Home offers both hospital and dementia level care, all overlooking tranquil Pakuranga Golf course.


We are looking for a Registered Nurse for a permanent, part time position working in our Dementia unit as follows:


Sunday and Monday 0645-1515 = 16hrs week.


There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.

Some of the great things you will be doing:


  • Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care
  • Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families
  • Provide compassionate and high-level care


Some things that will be an advantage include:


  • Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate are essential
  • Strong nursing experience, ideally in Aged Care
  • InterRai qualified is desirable
  • Up to date knowledge of wound care management
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
