Business Analyst | Part-Time Contract (until 24 May 2027)

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a significant programme of work. This is a hands-on BA role focused on turning clinical, quality and operational requirements into clear processes, requirements and practical solutions that can be implemented effectively.

About the role

Working across a multidisciplinary programme team, you’ll help bring structure and clarity to complex requirements and support the delivery of practical, workable outcomes.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting current-state and future-state processes.
  • Gathering and analysing clinical, operational and programme requirements.
  • Developing process maps, requirements documentation and options analysis.
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and implementation considerations.
  • Supporting prioritisation, implementation and delivery planning.
  • Working closely with clinical, operational and programme stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into delivery.

About you

You’ll be an experienced Business Analyst who is comfortable working across complex stakeholder groups and navigating environments where requirements are not always straightforward.  Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Senior-level Business Analysis experience, ideally within health, public sector or quality improvement environments.
  • Strong process mapping and requirements gathering capability.
  • Experience translating complex requirements into clear, practical delivery artefacts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.

This is an ASAP start contract through to 24 May 2027, working 0.5 FTE / 20 hours per week. The role can be performed remotely and/or from Auckland office location (hybrid).
