Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure work immediately and be part of a supportive team environment producing products that help feed New Zealand during one of the busiest times of the year.


What's on Offer?

  • Immediate start available
  • Opportunity through to approximately 18 December (subject to production demands)
  • $12 per day travel allowance for approved travel to Bulls
  • Monday to Thursday roster
  • Hours: 5:50am to 4:20pm
  • Supportive team culture and great working environment
  • Full training provided


Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and preparing meat products to specification
  • Packaging, weighing, labelling, and checking finished products
  • Operating production and packaging equipment safely
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure food safety standards are met
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
  • Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures
  • Achieving daily production targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Assisting with cleaning and sanitation duties
  • Working collaboratively with team members across production areas


What We're Looking For

  • Physically fit individuals (25kg + lifting)
  • Reliable transport - Located approx 30 minutes from Palmerston North Central
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work longer shifts and Fridays when required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, food processing, or packing experience is advantageous but not essential


Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

  • Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
  • Drug test
  • ACC pre-employment check
