Are you anexperienced Class 5 Driver looking for an exceptional new role with variety andthe opportunity to deliver to a range of customers across different routes?

About therole

We have anexceptional opportunity for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our Blenheimbased team in a floating position where you will have the opportunity to coverdifferent routes, both metro and line haul runs throughout the region. We are after someonewho enjoys real variety in their role, you may spend a few days driving metro whilethe rest of your week might see you operating a forklift unloading and loadingpallets.

This rolewill see you being the friendly face of Hall’s delivering chilled and frozenfood to businesses throughout the wider Marlborough region. We are after a customer focused person who enjoys providing a high level of customer service, is physically fit and confident with manual lifting. You needto be detailed oriented as you will be completing delivery documentation, dailyvehicle inspections and checking temperature settings.

To besuccessful in this role you will

  • Hold full & clean Class 5 license, with a minimum of 2 years NZ Class 5 driving experience
  • Be experienced driving truck & trailer, semis, and b-trains
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Be customer focused and enjoy providing a high level of service
  • Be comfortable with physical work
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and level of professionalism
  • Have a strong commitment to Health and Safety
