Job Description

Tradestaff is on the lookout for experienced Electricians to join our team in West Auckland!

We've got opportunities for skilled sparkies who enjoy variety and are confident working across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Whether you're installing new systems, troubleshooting faults or carrying out maintenance, we want to hear from you!


Location: West Auckland, Auckland

Start date: To be confirmed

Pay rate: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience, with weekly pay


  • What You'll Be DoingResidential, commercial and industrial electrical installations
  • Electrical maintenance, servicing and repairs
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Switchboard installations, upgrades and repairs
  • Wiring, rewiring and electrical fit-outs
  • Reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications
  • Ensuring all work meets NZ electrical regulations and safety standards
  • What We're Looking ForNZ-recognised or overseas electrical qualifications
  • Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence for prescribed electrical work
  • Full NZ driver's licence
  • Proven experience in residential, commercial or industrial electrical work
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attitude, quality workmanship and commitment to health and safety
