Job Description

OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.

OneStaff is currently recruiting experienced Asbestos Removalists with Class A and/or Class B certification to join our well-established client, who has a steady pipeline of ongoing work across New Plymouth and Hawera.

Our client specialises in commercial and residential demolition, asbestos removal and site preparation, with a strong focus on health and safety, quality workmanship and professionalism.


Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7am-5pm


The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:

  • Current Class A or B certified in asbestos removal strong advantage
  • Asbestos or demolition experience
  • A strong commitment to health and safety
  • Physically fit and aren’t afraid to get stuck in
  • Are reliable and committed to turning up on time everyday


Requirements to work for OneStaff:

  • ID required (one of the following) Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate & Driver’s License
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol test
  • Must have reliable transport


To work with OneStaff, you’ll need:

  • Valid ID (Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate plus Driver’s Licence)
  • Work or character references
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
