Are you a motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building lasting client relationships, and delivering outstanding results?


At Canterbury Office Furniture, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales Representative to help expand our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and uncover new opportunities in the market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Build a strong pipeline through proactive cold calling and networking.
  • Open new market sectors and develop untapped opportunities.
  • Manage and grow an established customer base.
  • Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service and regular contact.
  • Provide professional workplace solution recommendations.
  • Plan and manage your own daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and gross profit objectives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales pipeline information.

  • Proven success in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Confidence and persistence when making cold calls and securing new appointments.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and time management abilities.

  • Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
  • Professional presentation and a customer-first attitude.
  • A current full New Zealand driver's licence.
