About the Role

Stellar Recruitment is working with a number of well-established electrical contractors across Auckland who require experienced Electricians for upcoming and ongoing projects.


This is an excellent opportunity for qualified tradespeople looking for consistent work across commercial developments, industrial facilities, infrastructure upgrades, and maintenance projects. You'll be joining respected project teams delivering high-quality electrical solutions throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites
  • Maintenance, servicing, and upgrades of electrical systems
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
  • Cable pulling, terminating, and testing
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Switchboard installation and modifications
  • Testing and commissioning of electrical equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with New Zealand electrical standards
  • Participating in toolbox talks and site safety activities
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism


About You

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Current EWRB Practising Licence
  • Proven experience as a Registered Electrician
  • Commercial, industrial, or infrastructure project experience
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work from plans and technical drawings
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Reliable transport and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid working rights in NZ (Citizen, Permanent and/or Resident visa)
