Job Description

Our client is a well-established New Zealand company with a strong reputation in the construction and manufacturing sector. They are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder to join their workshop team.


At present we are looking for a Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder to join their team.


Your Key Duties Include:


- Working from detailed workshop drawings

- Fabricate and prepare structural steel components ready for production welding

- MIG/ARC welding and gas cutting

- Measuring, marking out and preparing steel components

- Cutting, drilling and fitting structural steel

- Tack welding and preparing components for final welding

- Using workshop machinery and equipment safely

- Producing accurate, high-quality workmanship

- Following all health and safety requirements


About You


- You'll have previous experience in structural steel fabrication and welding, be confident reading workshop drawings, and be able to work accurately with minimal supervision.
