Job Description

Truck Driver & Digger Operator (Utilities)


For our client we are seeking a skilled Driver & Operator. This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate.


You need:


  • Experience operating a digger up to 20t (civil construction)
  • Beneficial: Experience in utilities, power, drainage
  • Class 2 license (Class 4 preferred)
  • Valid licenses
  • Clean MOJ and pass drug test
  • Be reliable and possess reliable transportation
  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • Be a team player and able to work long hours
  • Physically fit to be able to help with other tasks required to finish the job


We offer:


  • Pay: Competitive starting from $28 (depending on skills, tickets, experience)
  • Temp to perm for the right candidate
  • Asap start


Tasks:


  • Operate excavators and other machinery (e.g. trucks & loaders)
  • If required jump in the trench and help out - don't mind manual labouring
  • Working closely with Site Foreman and small, skilled team
