About the role: We are seeking 2 fabulous Caregivers to join our team at Oakridge Villas in Kerikeri, Northland. Our Care Home offers Rest home, Hospital and Dementia level of care. Under the direction of our Registered Nurses, you will provide essential personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.


Role 1- Permanent full time - Wednesday to Sunday PM shifts 3 pm to 11 pm - 37.5 hours a week . Candidates are expected to work both days of the weekend


Role 2 - Permanent part time - Sunday to Wednesday AM shifts from 7am to 1 pm - 22 hours a week


Responsibilities include:


  • Working collaboratively with Nurses and Carestaff to make a difference in the lives of Residents
  • Providing care that is specific for the Resident and is holistic in nature
  • Ensuring safety and wellbeing of self, Residents and colleagues


About you


Attitude is key here. We are looking for experienced Caregivers, who love their job as a vocation and who are flexible in terms of availability.  You will be part of a growing organisation, which strives daily to deliver the best care available to our residents.


  • Previous experience in aged care and a desire to learn and develop your skill set
  • Careerforce or an equivalent healthcare qualification
  • Empathy, kindness and a love for making an impact on our residents' lives
