BestStart Dinsdale is seeking a passionate and experienced Caregiver to join our friendly and supportive teaching team. Our vision is “Nurture the Seed” , with relationships at the heart of everything we do.


Located next to the classic car museum in Frankton, our centre has an amazing outdoor playground with plenty of space for tamariki to explore, play, and learn.

About the Role:


Working across our rooms, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau while supporting children’s learning and development. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is flexible across different age groups, and brings initiative and a willingness to learn.


ECE experience is preferred, or we would love to hear from an experienced reliever looking to take the next step.


This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7 hours per day .


Role requirements:


We are looking for someone who:


  • Has ECE experience or strong experience as a reliever
  • Is a genuine team player who enjoys working across rooms
  • Builds strong and meaningful relationships with tamariki and whānau
  • Is open to learning and willing to take initiative
  • Is warm, reliable, and flexible
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing
