Job Description

Civil Carpenter Wanted Tradestaff is looking for experienced Heavy Civil Carpenters to join projects across Canterbury, Marlborough and other exciting South Island locations. If you have solid formwork and civil construction experience and enjoy working on large-scale infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you.


Details

Location: Canterbury, Marlborough and other South Island locations

Pay rate: $30–$38 per hour, paid weekly


What you’ll be doing


  • Heavy formwork and boxing for civil structures
  • Constructing and installing concrete formwork
  • Working on bridges, retaining walls, culverts and other infrastructure
  • Reading plans and working accurately to specifications
  • Working safely around plant and other civil construction activities

What we’re looking for


  • Proven heavy civil or commercial carpentry experience
  • Strong formwork and concrete construction experience
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Site Safe or ConstructSafe certification
  • Relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent experience
  • Full NZ driver licence
  • Strong commitment to health and safety on site
