Builder's Labourer


Tradestaff Rotorua is looking for an experienced Builder's Labourer to join a busy construction team working across residential and commercial projects. If you're confident using tools, enjoy hands-on work and take pride in helping deliver quality builds, this could be your next opportunity!


Location: Rotorua, Bay of Plenty

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $25–$28 per hour + weekly pay


What You'll Be Doing


  • Assist qualified builders with framing, cladding and finishing work
  • Measure, cut and prepare building materials
  • Safely operate a range of hand and power tools
  • Help with formwork, boxing and general construction tasks
  • Load, unload and move materials and equipment around site
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and support the wider building team
  • Keep worksites clean, organised and safe


What We're Looking For


  • Previous experience in construction or as a Builder's Labourer
  • Confidence using hand and power tools
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a team
  • Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence and reliable transport
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
