Tracks is looking for an experienced Civil Construction Site Supervisor to lead and work alongside our crew on a variety of civil construction projects across the Eastern Bay of Plenty.


This is not a sit-in-the-ute role. You'll generally focus on one project at a time, organising the work, operating machinery, supporting the team and taking ownership of safe, efficient site delivery.


What you'll be doing:


  • Lead and work alongside the crew, including operating excavators and other construction machinery.
  • Plan daily activities and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental management and workmanship.
  • Keep site diaries, timesheets, H&S and quality records, and variation information up to date.
  • Liaise with clients, engineers and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress.
  • Identify issues early, minimise waste and rework, and help deliver projects efficiently.


What we're looking for:


  • Proven civil construction experience and competent excavator operation.
  • Experience leading a crew and reading construction drawings and specifications.
  • A practical, organised approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound H&S knowledge and the discipline to complete project paperwork accurately and on time.
  • A full driver's licence; WTR endorsements are preferred.
