Job Description

We're working with two well-established transport and civil contractors in Cromwell who are looking for experienced Class 4 Drivers to join their teams.


These are hands-on roles where you'll be transporting materials and equipment to sites across Central Otago while supporting busy civil and infrastructure projects. With immediate starts available and a steady pipeline of work ahead, this is a great opportunity to secure your next role with reputable local businesses.


  • What's on offer$30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

  • Ongoing support from the local Tradestaff team
  • What you'll be doingSafely operating a Class 4 truck
  • Transporting materials, machinery and equipment to and from worksites
  • Completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting any faults
  • Assisting with loading and unloading where required
  • Working closely with site crews to keep projects running smoothly
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • What we're looking forFull NZ Class 4 licence
  • Previous Class 4 driving experience
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliable transport is a must
  • Two recent work references
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Experience in civil construction, along with WTR, forklift or Hiab endorsements, would be an advantage, but they're not essential. If you've got the right attitude and solid Class 4 driving experience, we'd still love to hear from you.
