Wastewater & Stormwater Pump Crew Operator


Are you reliable, practical, and looking for a hands-on role with the opportunity to learn new skills? We are seeking a motivated Wastewater & Stormwater Pump Crew Operator to join our team and help maintain critical water infrastructure within our community.


This is a varied role that involves working alongside an experienced crew carrying out the operation, maintenance, and servicing of wastewater and stormwater pump systems. No two days are the same, and training will be provided to the right person who is eager to learn and develop.


About the Role

In this position, you will:

  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of wastewater and stormwater pump stations.
  • Respond to breakdowns and faults as part of a rotating on-call roster.
  • Work safely around wastewater infrastructure and equipment.
  • Complete general labouring and operational duties as required.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain high safety standards.


What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Full Class 2 Driver Licence.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Willing to participate in a rotating on-call roster.
  • Comfortable working in and around wastewater environments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.


Desirable Skills (Training can be provided)

  • Crane/Hiab certification.
  • Working at Heights certification.
  • Confined Space certification.
  • Previous experience in civil, water, drainage, infrastructure, or maintenance work.
