Fabricator / Welder Wanted – $32–$45 Per Hour!

Tradestaff is on the lookout for experienced Fabricator/Welders to join our team across Auckland!

We have opportunities available for skilled Fabricator/Welders with experience across a range of welding techniques and fabrication work. Whether your expertise is in MIG, TIG, ARC or general steel fabrication, we want to hear from you!

Location: Auckland

Pay Rate: $32–$45 per hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Hours: Full-time opportunities available

About the RoleWe're looking for reliable, hardworking Fabricator/Welders who are confident working across various welding and fabrication projects. You'll be involved in a range of workshop and on-site work, including structural steel, general engineering and custom fabrication.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out MIG, TIG, ARC (Stick) and Flux Core welding.
  • Fabricate and weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Perform structural steel fabrication, assembly and installation.
  • Cut, grind, shape and prepare materials for welding.
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including grinders, cutting tools and welding machinery.
  • Carry out repairs, modifications and general engineering work.
  • Ensure all welding meets quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
  • What We're Looking ForProven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, ARC and/or Flux Core welding.
  • Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience in structural steel, heavy fabrication or general engineering is advantageous.
  • Relevant welding qualifications or trade certificates are highly regarded.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
