Production worker - Chiller environment - Wiri

Shifts: Between Monday - Sunday Potential time: 12:00pm to 11:00pm

(Candidates who are willing to work on Saturday/Sunday will be given preference)


About your new role:


  • Working on a production line
  • Meat processing and handling
  • Packing, labelling and preparing products
  • Following food safety and quality procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
  • Working safely and following site procedures
  • Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
  • Handle the physical demands of the job, including pallet shifting and lifting up to 20kgs.
  • No experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.


About you:


  • Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing or production is preferred but not essential
  • Comfortable working in a cold/chilled environment
  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual work
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Full working rights in New Zealand
  • Abel to pass drug and alcohol screening
