About the role


We are looking for 2 permanent part time Caregivers to join The Village Palms in Christchurch. You will be working under the direction of our Registered Nurses providing high standards of care and support to our residents.


The roles are permanent roles (and not casual roles)-  guaranteed 22.5 hour contract a week.


Shifts will be rotating/changing and not fixed each week - this is to cover staff leave.


Please only apply if you have flexibility and availability to work across AM/PM/night shifts including weekends.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Level 4 Health and Wellbeing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent attitude and demonstrate self-motivation and proactiveness.
  • Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred.
  • Empathy and enjoys making a difference in our residents' lives.
