Job Description

Trade Assist is looking for skilled Carpenters to join our team on busy Christchurch projects throughout the spring and summer months. We have opportunities available on a range of sites, offering consistent work with immediate starts. Alongside this we have long term opportunities available beyond the busy period.


Key responsibilities:


- Carry out general carpentry tasks, including framing, foundations, and installation of windows, doors, and fixtures

- Read and interpret plans and drawings to complete work to specification

- Maintain high safety standards and follow site procedures

- Work effectively within a team environment while also being able to work independently

- Monday to Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts available

What we are Looking for:


- Proven experience as a carpenter.

- Full tool kit to carry out your carpentry duties.

- Reliable transport and a punctual work ethic.

- Temp to Perm opportunities

- Site Safe certification is advantageous but not essential
