About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday , with flexibility to accommodate school hours for the right candidate. You will be part of our vibrant Over 3's team .

Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced teacher, you'll play an important role in helping tamariki develop confidence, resilience, and a love of learning. We encourage children to step outside their comfort zones, try new things, and express their ideas with confidence.

One of our key focuses of our curriculum is whaiaro (self-identity). We celebrate each child's unique culture, background, and strengths, helping tamariki develop a strong sense of belonging and pride in who they are.

What We're Looking For

  • B.Ed. or Diploma in Teaching (ECE) Level 7 and current NZ Teaching Council certification
  • Strong understanding of child-led learning and curriculum planning
  • Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki and current ECE Regulations
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of practice and compliance
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive teaching
  • Passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to quality early childhood education
