Do you know your way around agricultural machinery and enjoy helping customers find the right parts?


We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Parts Person to join our busy Hawera branch.


This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with customers, technicians and the wider team to ensure the right parts are available when they're needed.


About the Role


Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:


  • Assisting customers with parts enquiries in person and over the phone
  • Identifying and sourcing the correct parts for agricultural machinery
  • Processing parts orders, sales and invoices
  • Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and a tidy, organised parts department
  • Working closely with our service team to ensure parts are available for repairs and servicing
  • Providing friendly, knowledgeable customer service


What We're Looking For


Ideally, you'll bring:


  • Previous parts, agricultural machinery or related industry experience
  • Good mechanical knowledge and an understanding of agricultural equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good computer and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A practical, can-do attitude
  • The ability to work well as part of a team


Agricultural experience is preferred, but we're also interested in hearing from people with transferable parts or mechanical experience and a genuine interest in the industry.
