The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced technician for a field service role in Hawera where you will work on a range of modern agricultural machinery.


You will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults
  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing
  • Using modern diagnostic equipment and technical information
  • Preparing machinery for delivery and customer use
  • Providing technical support and delivering quality customer outcomes


Skills and experience

  • A Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Technician trade qualification, or other equivalent qualification
  • Agricultural equipment experience is preferred, although experienced heavy diesel technicians from related industries are encouraged to apply  Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • A current, clean driver's licence
  • Good communication skills and a commitment to quality workmanship
