Job Description

Extrastaff are currently looking for an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client’s team in Dunedin


This is a full-time, ongoing position for someone who is confident driving in the metro area and enjoys a varied delivery role.


About the Role


  • Full-time, Monday to Friday with the occasional extra Saturday
  • 8–10 hour working days
  • Dunedin-based yard
  • Metro delivery work throughout Dunedin and surrounding areas
  • Varied freight, including building materials and food products
  • Driving a Class 2 truck equipped with a tail lift
  • Loading and unloading using a pallet jack
  • Immediate start available


To be successful in this role, you will:


  • Hold a current Class 2 NZ driver's licence
  • Have proven experience driving a Class 2 truck
  • Be confident with tail lift operation
  • Be experienced using a pallet jack
  • Be comfortable completing multiple metro deliveries throughout the day
  • Be physically fit and capable of handling freight
  • Have a strong focus on safety and customer service
  • Be reliable, punctual and well presented
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug testWhat's on Offer?
