We are seeking experienced riggers and dogmen, alongside civil labourers, to support site operations involving piling, crane lifts, structural components and general construction activities.


Rigging & Dogging Positions


You will work closely with crane operators and ground crews to prepare, sling and position loads safely and efficiently.


Key responsibilities:

  • Rig and sling reinforcing pile cages, steel tubes, precast panels, beams and slabs.
  • Direct crane operators using clear radio communication and recognised hand signals.
  • Select and inspect lifting gear, checking its condition and suitability for the planned lift.
  • Follow lift plans, site procedures and exclusion-zone requirements.
  • Coordinate with ground crews to control and position loads safely.
  • Assist with lifting and relocating site equipment, including generators, compressors and containers.
  • Support barge-related lifting activities where required.
  • Assist with general site duties between lifting operations.


What you will bring:

  • At least two years’ relevant rigging and dogging experience.
  • Essential qualifications: US 30072 — Slinging Regular Loads Safely, and US 3789 — Slinging Loads and Directing Crane Operations.
  • Practical experience rigging and slinging pile cages.
  • Experience working around barges and marine construction operations.
  • Experience with lifting operations involving excavators and crawler cranes, such as Liebherr.
  • Sound awareness of load stability, lifting gear capacity and hazards around suspended loads.
  • Clear communication and the confidence to stop a lift if conditions are unsafe.
  • Multi-crane lifting experience is advantageous but not essential.


Civil Labouring Positions


You will support ground crews with the practical work needed to keep the site safe, organised and productive. These roles suit reliable, hands-on workers who take direction well and are comfortable working outdoors.


Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with site preparation, clean-up and general civil construction duties.
  • Move and organise materials, tools and equipment.
  • Carry out digging, shovelling and other manual tasks as directed.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and within your training.
  • Support piling, rigging and construction crews with ground-level tasks.
  • Help maintain clear accessways, barriers and tidy work areas.
  • Work safely around mobile plant and lifting operations, following instructions from the site team.

Rigging and dogging qualifications are required for the specialist positions, but are not required for general labouring duties.


Requirements for All Applicants

  • A minimum Class 1 restricted driver licence.
  • Your own reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to site each day.
  • The physical capability to perform manual work safely.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
  • A practical approach to health and safety, including following instructions and wearing required PPE.
  • Two contactable work referees.
  • The ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
