Job Description

RB Recruitment are on the hunt for a "Class 4 Air Vac Operator" for our client based in Queenstown.


Our client is a leader in the civil, rail and infrastructure projects and have a long history of providing exceptional services to their clients.


Wondering what an Air Vac Operator does?


An Air Vac Operator operates a unit that uses compressed air to break up the earths soil, which is then vacuumed up into the trucks holding unit; and when the holding unit is full, it is then unloaded onsite, or wherever the soil needs to go. No water, No slurry.


Air Excavation is another option & safer way to excavate down to underground services compared to using an excavator.


You do not need to have experience operating an air vac unit as all training will be provided, all you need is the class 4 drivers licence, a good work ethic, a positive attitude and the desire to provide a high level of service.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:


  • A current class 4 drivers licence (full licence)
  • Previous class 4 driving experience
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Be physically fit and capable to do this sort of work (80% air vac work & 20% driving)
  • Looking to learn something new and be a part of a great team and company
